The English countryside can not be beaten for its stunning views and atmosphere, especially when the sun is shining. This weekend we were lucky enough to enjoy three sun-filled days at the Chatsworth Country Fair, in the park of Chatsworth House, home to the Dukes of Devonshire. The Fair is in its 23rd year and is a fantastic day out for the family, with the opportunity to get involved with or watch all types of country pursuits, and of course try some outstanding food.

California Prunes were part of the fine food village and our team spent the weekend talking with visitors to the fair and giving them the opportunity to try our delicious, high quality California Prunes. Our new seasonal recipe book was also given out free of charge and was very well received by the many talented cooks and domestic goddesses that we met over the three days.

From sheep dog trials to hot air balloons and cookery demonstrations, Chatsworth really does have something for everyone!
